Facts about Abraham Lincoln:

Before Abraham Lincoln became our 16th president, he was an attorney in Illinois.  He also served as a Captain in the Illinois Militia during the Black Hawk War.  When he came back, he worked in a general store, owned a saloon, and ran for president several times before finally becoming president.

Abraham Lincoln was married to Mary Todd and they had four sons.  He was assassinated after the Civil War.
