• She was born on 26 August 1910 as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu

• At the age of 18, she went to Ireland to join the Sisters of Loreto in Dublin to become a nun

• Mother Teresa was fluent in five languages: English, Albanian, Serbo-Croat, Bengali, and Hindi

• She was honored with numerous awards and achievements to include the Nobel Peace Prize in 1971

• Mother Teresa passed away on 5 September 1997 and was canonized on 4 September 2016
